By the way, those are Klobasnek. Kolache are the fruit filled bowls of bread. Most people won't really make the differentiation, but I figured a little info never hurt.

I'm from TX too and about to go make this right now! I actually soak my cube steaks in milk overnight (or at least 2 hrs) rather than pounding them to tenderize, but otherwise this looks just like how my mawmaw used to do it....flour substituted of course.
